BEFORE RECORDING: Practice enough so you can stay with the guide track! 120 beats/minute
1. TUNE YOURSELF UP! Use Tuner Ninja
2. Read the directions/help for each section BEFORE recording.
3. Remember to play all the way through the section.
4. If it's not correct or too slow, practice, fix it, try again!
5. THINK MUSICALLY! Dynamics and articulations are key. I cannot fix those in the mix...
AUDIO GUIDE TRACKS - There are EIGHT clicks (beats) before the music.
YOU MUST USE your earbuds/headphones when recording
Section 1 • m1-09 • Connect the quarter notes. Play all the way into measure nine.
Section 2 • m09-24 • Count your rests carefully! (1-2, 2-2). Take the FIRST ENDING.
Section 3 • m09-28 • TAKE THE SECOND ENDING! Everything else is the same as section two.
Section 4 • m29-45 • Watch the 8th vs quarter notes, half notes and the rests. (Ti-ti tah, REST, ti-ti tah tah tahhhh)
Section 5 • m45-61 • Hold the half notes out for their full value. Don't rush! Quarter note/rest people: count carefully.
Section 6 • m61-76 • Same as section two, except with a new woodwind part. TAKE THE FIRST ENDING.
Section 7 • m61-80 • TAKE THE SECOND ENDING! Same as section six.
