FEBRUARY INTRO Concert Information
When: Tuesday, February 11th at 7:00 pm. Open to the public.
Arrival: Lakeview Jr. High at 6:00-6:15 pm *NO EARLIER!
Where: Meet in the LV GYM 2.
Performance is in LV Gym 1
Enter: Lakeview main entrance. Beginning Band students will stage their coats/cases in GYM 2.
Go straight to the lobby, Go left all the way down the hall to Gym 2 entrance on the left.
Who: ALL PV Beginning Band members
CONCERT DRESS
We do not have a specific uniform for the Beginning Band.
Dress for the concert is nice clothes. No jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, tennis shoes. I do not consider leggings pants, but they are fine if worn under a skirt.
Traditional concert wear is black shoes, socks, pants and a white top. HOWEVER, any nice dress up clothes will do!
Let me repeat this: ANY nice clothes will do.
GIRLS may wear a skirt or dress (of any color), if they wish. Pants (not just leggings) are good, too. If they wear a skirt shorter than knee-length, leggings or tights are required.
BOYS-Black pants are good if you have them, but khaki, blue, or brown work, too. Same thing with nice shoes. Just no jeans, sweats and tennis shoes. Shirts can be button down or polos. A sweater can work, too. No t-shirts. Suits are definitely not required but look really nice.
