PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Private lessons are currently being scheduled at Lakeview. Lessons take place after school or in the early evening.
Below is a list of the guidelines we need to follow to insure a rewarding experience for our students and the staff that has agreed to work with them.

1. Parents/Guardian should remain on site or sit in on your child's lesson. This is to maintain building security and for the safety of our students.
2. Please enter the school through the main entrance door by the parking lot.
3. Since private instruction is a part of our teacher's livelihood, payments should be made to the instructor each week,
or on a regular schedule agreed upon together.
4. Lesson cancellation should be done 24 hours before the lesson by contacting the teacher. Do not leave messages or make cancellations with the school office.
5. Private instructors are invited in to serve the needs of our program and the needs of our music students.
6. Private instructors are not sponsored by District 66. Parents assume all liability for their child's participation.
This program has been very helpful to the students of Center Cass District 66 and we hope it will continue to grow.

Patricia McMurray is the band director at Visitation School in Elmhurst and is a graduate of Western Illinois University as a trumpet major and has a degree in Music Therapy.
